Howlidays + Birthday Palooza 2026 - 10/10
2025 was an incredibly challenging year. To wrap it up & move into 2026 in a better state of mind, I settled on spending the holidays and my birthday in Jacksonville with my lover & friends!
I was gifted a set of 101 Dalmatians PJs and a matching Loungefly backpack! I was absolutely ECSTATIC!! I gifted Wacky a handful of handmade gifts & a Homer Simpson Christmas sweater - he loved them all SO MUCH!
We spent New Year's Eve wandering around the riverfront, watched the fireworks beside the Friendship Fountain, and grabbed some yummy drinks before heading home! (Craft beers are growing on me, it turns...)
For our birthdays, we swapped celebration days! We saw the Jaguars vs. Titans on my birthday (DUUUVAAAL) and in turn, he took me to see baby manatees in Deland at Blue Springs on his! There were nearly 600 of them, and we even spotted 2
making out (they're just like us!) Our friends Greg & Will hosted another lovely low-key birthday party for us as well.
We had some friends from Atlanta and Orlando come spend the weekend with us, too! We kicked back around the fire, had some good mixed drinks, and pumped ourselves full of questionable fast foods.
While Wacky had work during the day, I spent time playing with his households resident (& feral!) cats, their ferrets, did some bird watching, played some Sims 3 on his retro CRT, went on some good walkies & lunch dates with friends, and cracked down on some commissions! I also had the honor of doing fursuit upgrades & repairs for Wacky & our friend Dirty!

Grief & Howloween 2025 - 7/10
September - November were very harsh months for me. My family battled a hardcore viral illness, my nana was diagnosed with cancer, I temporarily dropped out of college, my nana passed on suddenly, and I was thrown into balancing debts and financial responsibilities on my own. I've learned a lot in my mourning, and have kicked into overdrive trying to sort things out and get my life together. It's not been easy, nor will it be for a while, but I'm trying my best!
To lighten the load a bit, Nonestar came to visit & spent Howl with me. He provided some much needed relief - we explored Vancouver more, hit up the party floors, carved pumpkins & watched absolute slop. He brought his cursed ass Kanye West cosplay and I took some horrific photos of him, too!
I was pretty mentally checked out during this period, but the fun I did squeeze in definitely helped lift the spirit. Bless that owl!

Megaplex 2025 - 10/10
This con was the BEST TO DATE! Wacky and I spent a week together in Jacksonville before the trip down to Orlando - we were both pretty busy between work and costume prep, so we didn't get up to much exploring, but! we got LOTS of laughs and love in, took a dip in the pool, and went out for some yummy treats! We hung out with our friends Greg and Will, too - they made us an AMAZING Szechuan dinner, I got a tour of Will's new art studio, and had a look around their native plant garden! ... being swiftly eaten alive by mosquitos in the process, haha! (WEEKS of agony...)
My crew kicked MP off geared up as Imperial Officers for a promotional bit; Wacky hosted a Star Wars themed room party that was a GREAT success - this was his first time hosting a party and he really pulled it off! Our lovely friends did a wonderful job planning, organizing & decorating, and they slayed as always! Nonestar, our beloved owl friend, DIY-ed his own "Homer Picard" cosplay - an in-joke for our group, and an absolute terror to all who laid eyes on him (Those who know, know.) We also made two new solid friends who joined us in our Star Wars shenanigans! I already adore them, and I'm looking forward to many more bits with them!
Clown Con and Jester Knights were also incredibe this year - it was CC's first time as a main event, and I had my very first volunteer experience running CC reg with my friend Liz! We had over 600 attendees at our very own con-within-a-con! It was a great time as always, and I had a blast watching everyone have so much fun! Wacky's DJ sets impressed yet again, I shook some tail and had some good drinks & chats! Looking forward to many more experiences working with the team.
We wrapped up the con with a lovely dining experience at The Nile Ethiopian restaraunt - an annual get-together that we've grown to cherish! The food was deliciously filling as always and it really made up for our rather poor diets at the con... The honey wine hit hard, and the emotions hit harder when Wacky had to leave a night early for work... That last night was tender, but my friends kept my chin up and had me giggling the night away!
Naturally, I DID end up catching Con Crud™ again - thankfully though, it didn't kick in until my flight back home! It was absolutely terrible this time around; the stomach flu AND bronchitis! :o(

Furry Weekend Atlanta 2025 - 6/10
A cram-packed convention that went by super fast with MANY highs and lows and...interesting moments.
This con was my first long-duration fursuiting experience - MUCH better than the last few thanks to some alterations! - and was also my very first time seeing I've Made Too Much Pasta!! (Shoutout to Dyl Fox for gifting the BF and I custom guitar picks!) I stayed in suit the whole concert and danced around with Wacky front-stage! It was SO FUN but I got a little trampled by other suiters trying to mosh behind us ugh :o(.
The highlight of this con was the impromptu Gomer Simpsonavich Memorial - thus was just the beginning of chaos.... I got to goth out, have many yummy drinks, my Jester Dearest bought me a cool t-shirt and a Josie and the Pussycats VHS! I didn't get up to too many festivities outside of this, I got hit with Con Crud™ my second night there! :o( It was really bad so I'd give FWA25 a 6/10!

Vancoufur 2025 - 7/10
This was only my 2nd time attending my local con! My dear friend Nonestar flew alll the way from Atlanta to join me and make use of his new long-distance connections from his pop-up visit during Howloween 2024! This one is definitely more of a party con and relatively intimidating in terms of socializing at them... While I didn't get to stay for much of them (I live a pricey Uber away from the conspace!) I ended up having fun with Nonestar nonetheless!
We shared some yummy Chinese tea, I met a bunch of new clowns, and VF threw an AMAZING theatrical fursuit performance for closing ceramonies! The general improv vibes and designs were nostalgic & fantastic!

Birthday Palooza 2025 - 10/10
This year, Wacky & I celabrated our birthdays together! Our birthdays are litcherally a day apart (Stuffie = 01/04, Wacky = 01/05!) so we spent some VERY special moments together to enjoy the start of a new year! He took me to see the Jacksonville Symphony - my first ever live orchestra! It was a lovely formal event that had my eyes watering throughout the night (& my tummy rumbling at the smell of cinnamon roasted nuts out in the hall!!)
That same night, we had a combined celebration weekend with Jacksonville local friends Greg, Will & Dirty, and our Atlanta friends Leo & Nonestar came down to join us! We had a blast exploring the city, visiting the USS Orleck, having an AMAZING surprise birthday party hosted by the ever so lovely Greg, and wrapping up the visit by cruising down to St. Augstine & bar hopping the night away. This adventure is definitely a favourite!

Howloween / AdventureCru 2024 - 5/10
My first time attending Howloween + AdventureCru! Honestly, it's hard to remember much of this con - it was a reaaally small con in a reaaally small venue, and not knowing anyone local personally, I only went for maybe 5 hours on Saturday! This con made me realize that cons here really DO revolve around connections and PARTIES - outside of that, there's not a lot happening in terms of panels & events!
Thankfully, a few days later a roaving pop-up furry rave event came through - AdventureCru! This was an event split between 2 stages - a main stage on the bottom floor, and a second "mock stage" upstairs in a communal den area surrounded by various art studios! I got to see a bunch of musicians, from Glopossum to Russelbuck! (This was also my first time catching Russ in person and getting better accquainted! We completed my first ever kandi trade at this show as well! :3) It was raining like crazy and super freaking cold this night, but I had fun!
Aside from the AdventureCru experience and some dealer's den buys at Howloween, this trip was kind of mid overall.

Seattle 2024 - 10/10
In October I took a bus down to Seattle to link up with my friends Greg & Will for a night while they explored the PNW! This was ironically my first time traveling along the West Coast!
I got there around maybe 8pm, so we explored the city night life! It was SO surprising seeing so much furry graffiti, posters, stickers - you name it! The place was practically PLASTERED in it! It had me really wishing we had a bigger social community back in Vancouver - Seattle is literally only 3 hours away!
We stopped at a goth bar downtown, then went to a hot dog joint - the next morning, we ate the most delicious crumpets I've ever had, explored the harbor, the shops, and saw the Fabled Gum Wall! The visit was brief but absolutely lovely, and as always, it was an absolute pleasure getting to spend time with those two! I'd LOVE to do it again for longer next time.

Megaplex 2024 - 10/10
After 4 months of nonstop work, I managed to complete my first ever partial fursuit and make my big debut @ Megaplex 2024! This would be my first time EVER wearing a fursuit, letalone for longer than 15 minutes at a time. It was.... Debilitating to say the least!
I was only out for maybe an hour before heat exhaustion set in... My second time out I nearly fell down the escalator! The experience helped me learn some different tips and tricks that really helped improve my future alterations and suit making techniques! The con itself was an absolute blast as well - a first for new friendships and fun - I got to make our room poster with matching outfits!
Me and the gang LARPed around in Soviet milsurp more than we suited at this con, which has sparked a tradition of quirky getups and bits! A very special memory I now hold near and dear to me was also born at this con; we went to The Nile for Ethiopian together, and shared many first-times and belly-laughter! The experience deeply moved us and really brought us all closer in the end.

Jacksonville 2024 - 10/10
In January & March 2024, I took a break from conventions to focus on my classes and made use of my breaks between semesters to spend quality time with Wacky instead! We explored his stomping grounds together some more, checking out a big abandonned spaceship fuel tank, a sulfur spring-fed public pool, Clay County's historic homes and jail.
We drove down to St. Augustine, struggled up and down the lighthouse, and even took a ferry to Fort Matanzas where I saw river dolphins for the first time! We had a picnic at Fort Caroline after a hike over oyster mounds throughout the swampy flats, visited Paine's Praire and saw wild bison, gators, and all kinds of animal tracks. We drove to Micanopy, a place forever in my heart, and Kingsley Plantation, one that has made a permanent mark on my soul.
I was blessed not only with history this trip, but plenty of nature - I saw peacocks, tortoise, armadillo, and my most favourite of them all - manatees!

Jacksonville / Savannah 2023 - 10/10
Wacky definitely made this trip a memorable one! I was violently ill flying in and adjusting to being in a car this trip, and a hurricane pulling in added to the stress of travels - but he still made sure to make this trip worth it!
He took me through some older historical areas of Jacksonville, a now mandatory part of my visits, and brought me to Blue Springs where I swam (rather, I floated) in deep, freezing, magestically blue water for the first time! He brought me to Florida Museum of Natural History and to their butterfly garden - a place I've always wanted to visit. We had the most romantic beachside dinner together this trip, driving to St. Augustine for dessert at Bar Harbor Cheesecake followed by a late night visit to the beach where we watched the waves together, making this trip extra meaningful to me!
We also explored a bit of Savannah, GA together! We filled up on the best soul food I've had in my LIFE, visited the fabled Sorrel-Weed house, and got caught in a rainstorm on our way to visit a WW2 museum! When the rain passed, we took a stroll through the very wet cemetary, taking in the history & culture around us.

Texas Furry Fiesta 2023 - 10/10
This convention was my very first time at a US con, and it was... definitely something! This was at a VERY weird time in my life, and everything happened VERY fast - a very STRANGE convention!
There were 3 highlights at this convention: 1. Not dying in a freak plane-hits-tornado accident, 2. Wacky leading a gang of furries to Dealey Plaza and giving a lecture on one of America's biggest conspiracies - the JFK Assasination, and 3. The rekindling of a very beautiful flame with the most unique person I've ever met in my life.
